al-Qaida and Taliban hunger strike

'Suspected' al-Qaida and Taliban prisoners at Guantanamo have gone on hunger strike.
And do we care?
Not only are they saving the US money, but with any luck they will die in the end.

They also plan to boycott showers and stop wearing clothes.
And this differs from their normal lives how?
