al-Qaida deny involvement

The Iraqi Al-Qaida has said in a statement released onto the internet that it had nothing to do with the chaos in Baghdad.

Abu Maissara al-Iraki, head of the group's information department posted this statement.

'The Al-Qaida organisation in Mesopotamia denies any implication in the events at Kadhimiya, we have nothing whatsoever to do with it.'

oh thats ok then, I mean if he said they didn't have anything to do with it then I believe them...being so trustworthy and all.
