A statement released by the Faruq Electronic Army:

'The Faruq Electronic Army seeks to publish jihadist and mujahideen news, defend Islam and jihad in light of the Western media’s purported campaign of equating jihad and terror, destroying immoral, vile, and abhorrent websites, Arab and foreign, and establishing an Islamic voice comprising Muslim men with experience in spreading religious rhetoric and inciting to jihad.
If my love for jihad is called terror, then may the world know that I am the first among terrorists.'
