U.S. made scapegoat again
Ministers in the Iraqi Government are blaming U.S. forces for the stampede in Baghdad that killed hundreds by refusing to remove blast barriers from the bridge, which then created a bottleneck.
Commander of the Iraqi army’s 1st brigade, Abdul Jalel Khalaf said he had asked the Americans to remove the concrete barriers, but they refused to take any action.
'The Americans took a very bad initiative, they prevented the ambulances entering the area.' he said.
