Another Taliban commander killed

Tor Mulla died during a gun battle with US forces and Afghan soldiers in the Zabul province in Afghanistan.

Taliban spokesman Abd al-Latif Hakimi said Mulla's brother and wife had also been killed in the gun battle.

Tor Mulla is another unknown, turns out you're eligible to be a Taliban commander if you have more than four sheep.

Saddams trial

Saddam Husseins trail will begin on the 15th of October.

He faces the charge of the 1982 killing of 143 people in Dujail along with dozens of other charges for alleged crimes, including the chemical attack on the Kurdish village of Halabja in 1988, the invasion of Kuwait in 1990 and the repression of Shias in 1991.

Very doubtful he will be found not guilty, so this is the beginning of the end...he should be dangling from a rope before this year is out

Muslim lookalike 3

This weeks muslim lookalike is Michael Mckean.

I blame you Nadja for this weeks crap effort, you were no help at all.

Mujahideen response on Beslan

In response to an article from Kavkaz's Ahmad Ichkeriiskiy regarding Beslan, the Military Amir of Mujahideen Abdullah Shamil Abu-Idris issued this statement.
As far as Beslan is concerned, really, if to play the political games of hypocrites, I should have kept silent or repudiated the brothers. But the matter is that I live my own life, instead of to play other's games. And what for should I refuse a successfully carried out operation, which has shown the real essence of Russicism? What for should we shoulder another's blame?

blah blah blah...the letter goes on for about another four months, with various rants and quotes from the Koran damning all us kuffar.
So I heavily edited it to suit my own needs.

Read it for yourself Here

Another article here, still blaming Putin for forcing them to take children hostage.

Shia v Sunni

Shi'ite muslims marching across the al-Aima bridge where hundreds of Shia's had lost their lives just days before, once again came under attack from Sunnis.

It happened as the Shi'ites approached an Iraqi army checkpoint. Soldiers at the checkpoint fired warning shots into the air, Sunnis used this as an excuse claiming that they thought they were under attack.
The two sides exchanged fire and as a result a 12yr old girl was killed in the crossfire.

In separate attacks at least two Sunnis were killed and four injured when Shi'ites opened fire on the Mizael Basha and al-Rashidiya mosques in Basra.

I thought they would at least wait until the three days of mourning were over before they started the butchering.
